A heartbreaking incident in the United Kingdom has sparked widespread outrage after a blind pet dog died following an alleged assault that was captured on a home security camera.

According to the dog’s owner, 11-year-old Shih Tzu Ethel was outside her home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, when a postal worker delivered a parcel.
Moments later, footage from a Ring doorbell camera allegedly showed the postal worker turning back and forcefully kicking the dog before walking away.
The owner said Ethel was partially blind, elderly, and had only one tooth, adding that the dog posed no threat.
She described the incident as devastating, saying the kick launched the small dog into the air before it struck the ground.
Emergency treatment
Ethel was rushed to a veterinary hospital, where doctors worked to save her.
According to her owner, veterinarians discovered internal bleeding and a rapid drop in blood pressure. Despite emergency treatment, Ethel’s condition continued to deteriorate.
Veterinary staff later determined that the dog had suffered irreversible brain damage and multiple severe injuries.
Her owner ultimately made the difficult decision to have Ethel humanely euthanized to prevent further suffering.
