After eight hours of balancing stones on the beaches of Lake Superior yesterday, I was exhausted. Then I saw this big white rock, got re-inspired, and created one more piece, the favorite of the day.

The precarious pile of pebbles caught my eye immediately. The rocks are all different shapes and sizes, and they are precariously balanced on top of each other. It is a defy gravity kind of scene that makes you wonder how long the pile will last before it comes crashing down.

This art of balancing rocks, also known as rock stacking or stone balancing, is a practice that has been around for centuries. It is a meditative and creative activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There is no right or wrong way to stack rocks, and the only limit is your imagination.

Some people like to stack rocks to create a sense of balance and harmony. Others like to stack rocks to create sculptures or other works of art. And still others simply enjoy the challenge of stacking rocks and seeing how high they can go.
