A Man Was Walking Home From Work When He Noticed A Small Animal On The Sidewalk!

A small animal was on the street as a Thai man was walking home from work. When she got close to him, she realized it was a cat who hadn’t been mute since she was born. After seeing how defenseless and alone the cat was, the man decided to take him home and care for him.

The animal could not have survived on the streets on its own.

The man gave the kitten milk from a bottle and provided him with excellent care after bringing him home. The animal had settled in with the new owner and was content.

The kitten grew in size over time. The man began to realize that the creature he had raised was not a cat. As it grew, it became clear that it was a completely different species of mammal.

After consulting a veterinarian, the man discovered that the creature was a fishing cat.

Because of habitat destruction and hunting, the rare fishing cat, which lives in Asia, could go extinct. | SHUTTERSTOCK

The fishing cat has smooth, gray-gray fur that is regularly spaced across its body. Its back is brown and covered in tiny, evenly spaced, longitudinal rows of black or dark brown markings that are of varying sizes.

An adult specimen has a tail length of 25–33 cm, a body length of 75–86 cm, and a weight range of 8–14 kg.

Legs are lengthy and taper to somewhat webbed toes, with sharp claws that are only partially retractable.

The term “fisherman cat” describes a person who enjoys hunting fish, snakes, frogs, crabs, crustaceans, crayfish, snails, and water insects in semi-aquatic environments. It is also rumored to kill lambs, calves, mice, birds, and reptiles.
