It’s not every day that you come across a stray cat in a butcher shop. Because our feline buddies are extremely cunning, most people’s initial response would be to chase the feral beast away. When a hungry kitty strolled into the Yesim Meat Gallery in Manisa, Turkey, the three kind butchers decided to provide the cat a pleasant meal instead. A video of the incident has since gone viral.
The ginger-haired kitty hopped on top of a miniature lamb statue situated in front of the counter and stood on its two hind legs, as if to formally make its order. The butcher behind the counter was gracious enough to provide the hungry cat with a couple crumbs of delectable meat treats. It appears that this is the kitty’s normal order, as this isn’t the first time the feline has swung by for a nice treat.
In reality, quite a few animals in the area pay a visit to the butcher shop on occasion to sample their high-quality meats. And their visits are always welcome since Ikram Korkmazer, the store’s owner, has a long-standing policy of feeding any hungry animals who walk into his shop. So, thankfully, no stray animals will go hungry for long. They know just where to go when they want a good treat.
