“I felt like I was chosen” ❤️
Recently, an unwelcome guest landed into Carolina Medeiros’ Brazilian porch.
She was a wild parrot who would soon win Medeiros’ heart as well.
The native to the area golden-capped parakeet appeared to have come to Medeiros’ porch only to rest her wings. Then, with a lusty squawk, she proclaimed her presence, prompting Madeiros to go outdoors.
Medeiros told us, “I was quite astonished.
Medeiros made the choice to give the bird a food since he didn’t want to be a poor host to that unexpected visitor.
A banana was snatched by Medeiros and held out for her.
When she first saw the banana, she became less timid and wary, according to Medeiros. It was enchanted.
A fantastic love tale then started.
The parrot flew away from that initial meeting and returned to her flock in a neighboring tree. She wouldn’t be gone for very long though.
She came back the following day. Medeiros handed her some berries this time.
She “began feeling confident,” according to Medeiros.
The small bird returned on the third day, even going so far as to enter Medeiros’ apartment.
Medeiros remarked, “I felt like I was selected.
Medeiros gave her the name Tatá.
Tatá always flew back to where her flock was after their visits. However, the visits continued.
Tatá started acting more proactively to obtain Medeiros’s attention, as opposed to waiting for her on the porch. Medeiros began receiving wake-up calls in the early morning.
She would arrive at my residence at 6:30 a.m. and tap on the window until I let her in, according to Medeiros.

Tatá was in a relationship.
It took some getting used to waking up every day to the sound of a bird. But the closeness that had grown between Medeiros and Tatá made it all worthwhile.
According to Medeiros, “I never thought that a relationship between a wild animal and a person could emerge in such a swift and powerful way.
Tatá and Medeiros’ bond was particularly amazing because the small bird was constantly free to travel and discover new places. And it appears that she did exactly that one day.
Tatá came to see me seven days in a row before departing with her herd, according to Medeiros. “I adore being able to fly, but just as Tatá did to me, I always return to those I love.”
It’s hard to predict whether Tatá will return to Medeiros or whether she has permanently moved with her herd to a new area. Yet she is always welcome to return.
The home belongs to her, Medeiros declared. “I used to say that I was her pet human in jokes. I’ll be on the lookout for her at all times.”
Whether Tatá comes back or not, Medeiros won’t quickly forget the memories she left behind.
Our relationship was exceptional and fantastic, she stated. “Tatá sensed my intentions as well as my love and devotion. I definitely have a different perspective on animals now after this encounter.”
