Tigger, a 21-year-old cat, was left at a nearby veterinary clinic by his owner towards the end of his life. He was sad and perplexed and couldn’t figure out why. Then, though, Adriene Nicole appeared. Nicole made the decision to bring him home after reading his story on the Canton Neighbors website. He needed love, and she wanted to give it to him.
Sadly, Nicole soon learned that Tigger had a tumor the size of a golf ball and renal failure. Nicole said, “Though he has renal failure and we detected a tumor, he kicks it like a 12-year-old, so it doesn’t stop him. We made a list of odd adventures for Tigger’s bucket list,” she said on Facebook.
She said, “Even though it may not seem like much to others, he loves being outside, with the beach being his current favorite. All the tiny outings outside are a pleasure for him. The most crucial aspect is that Tigger’s tale exemplifies how wonderful it is to adopt an elderly pet and make the most of their remaining years. He has permanently altered our perspectives on adopting older animals, and we can only hope that he will do the same for others.
