Japanese Diver Has Been Visiting His Fish Buddy For 25 Years

I know this is unbelievable, but it’s actually true. This Japanese diver and this funny looking human(alien?)-faced fish have been friends for 25 years. For real.

Hiroyuki Arakawa has been entrusted to oversee one of Japan’s Shinto shrines, which is located beneath the surface of Japan’s Tateyama Bay. Over the decades, he became buddies with one of the marine creatures who live around the shrine, an Asian sheepshead wrasse named Yoriko. Their kiss (and the video below) says it all.
