Have you felt down lately? A baby bat going absolutely HAM on a banana till her small cheeks are packed to the brim is just what you need to turn it around.
Following a terrifying incident with a car that left her in need of immediate care, the baby flying fox, affectionately known as “Miss Alicia,” was rescued in Queensland, Australia. Denise Wade (Batzilla The Bat), a bat environmentalist, took her into her arms, and she is now on the road to recovery with no serious wounds. If you haven’t noticed, she has also continued to look charming as all get-out in the aftermath.
Wade recorded a video of Miss Alicia being fed while she was recuperating and swaddled in a soft blue cloth. You can imagine how Alicia reacted when a fresh banana was offered to her given that flying foxes are known to have a sweet taste (their diet consists primarily of fruit and nectar). “However, on this occasion we have a happy outcome and with no broken bones and only a slight concussion”

“Miss Alicia will spend a short time in care before being released back to her colony”
