Despite the fact that he isn’t wearing a cape, this brave young man is acclaimed as a hero after his extraordinary deed saved the life of a helpless creature. Without hesitation, a young boy named Belal, believed to be in his early teens, risked his life to save a fawn from drowning.

Floods are widespread in Bangladesh during the rainy season, but they are also exceedingly harmful for both humans and wildlife. After severe rains caused a fast-rising flood on the river in Noakhali, Bangladesh, a little baby deer was separated from its family. Luckily for the little one, the little kid saw as the tiny critter was swept away by the swift currents. He dived right in and tried frantically to save the deer.

In the end, his bold and fearless act paid off, and they both arrived safely at the river’s edge. The touching rescue was seen by a photographer, who recorded it on film. And the striking visuals speak for themselves.

The photographer, named Hasibul Wahab said he and the others that witnessed the scene, couldn’t believe their eyes when seeing the brave boy. However, he said at some point they even feared for his life.

Wahab remarked, “He was such a brave youngster — the river was so full of water and it was high tide, we worried he could perish.” “One of my friends was even willing to leap into the river in order to save the youngster.” But he made it, and we thanked the youngster when he returned. This scenario was only observed by five to seven persons, yet it was a spectacular sight.”
