Unusual friendships abound in the animal world, but this one takes things to a whole new level. Ingo, a German Shepherd, and Poldi, a little owl, both reside in Germany with Tanja Brandt, their human mother, and believe it or not, they are best friends!
Cozying up to each other and posing for lovely photoshoots is one of their favorite things to do. Tanja is a professional wildlife photographer, so this is especially true. As a result, Ingo and Poldi have a lot of chances to show off their unexpected relationship. For both of them, it’s a unique relationship. Without a doubt, this amazing connection keeps them both happy and cheerful, knowing that there’s always one for the other, offering all the comfort in the world.
Because the owl is just a year old, Ingo stepped in as her defender right away. As a result, the dog ensures that he is constantly close to Poldi in case she becomes terrified or need protection. Poldi, on the other hand, lavishes tenderness and devotion on the dog.
Ingo comes from a line of police dogs, thus taking on the duty of guardian is in his blood. There isn’t a better pair with Poldi being the most fragile of her family because she hatched earlier than any of her siblings.
