A wandering dog enters a police station to declare himself lost

While we’re used to dogs doing all sorts of surprising (and often humorous) things, this pup’s excursion has taken the internet by storm!

When a doggy strolled through the front doors of the Odessa Police Department in Texas, officers were taken aback. Everyone believed it was a dream or something because it was so early in the morning, but it was as real as breathing. And, as the cops were all gaping, the nice dog approached one of the officers in the most relaxed manner conceivable.

The officer who received the calmly doggie was Sergeant Rusty Martin. And, according to him, the surprise guest did not appear to be bothered by the circumstance in any way. As a result, the police officers had no choice but to play with him. Sergeant Martin told The Dodo, “We were all pleased to have him in the building.” “We had a tennis ball, so we tossed it about in the lobby for a while.” “Everyone adored him.”

However, despite his pleasant demeanor and welcoming demeanor, no one walks into a police station for fun, so the officers were eager to learn the dog’s identity. They assumed it would be a simple task because he was wearing a collar. The ID tag, however, was missing. It was then that they contacted animal control to come in for a microchip check.

The adorable German Shepherd decided enough was enough and backed out before animal control arrived. In a Facebook post, the sergeant stated, “He sprinted out just as swiftly as he came in.”

Sergeant Rusty Martin was relieved to see that the canine guest was fine and healthy, and, more importantly, that he had been reunited with his human father. Even yet, he couldn’t disguise his delight at the surprise visit, and he added Chico, the dog, is welcome back at any moment.

The sergeant stated, “The owner responded the next day [to say] it was his dog and he had returned home.” “He lives a mile or so away from the station.” At the police station, he was lavished with affection and care. We were relieved to read that he had made it back to his owner safely. Chico is welcome to return at any moment.”
