An Australian man used a frying pan to hit a charging crocodile over the head.
Kai Hansen was filmed striking the large reptile twice before it turned to race back into the water at the Goat Island lodge in the Northern Territory.
‘I wouldn’t say it’s a common occurrence, but I have to stay safe and do what I can,’ Hansen told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.
‘No one was hurt, and the croc learned a valuable lesson.’
According to Hansen, the confrontation started when the crocodile got too close to his restaurant and became aggressive.
He went out, armed with a heavy bottomed pan, to make sure the path was safe for visitors.
