With his extraordinary collection of digital art, Hamburg-based artist, traveler, and photographer Robert Jahns combines truth and imagination. On Instagram, he is known as nois7, and his meticulously composed compositions have gained over one million followers. Each intriguing image is like something out of a dream, with recognized sites from all around the world but a fantasy twist. Every one of Jahns’ paintings, from paddling into the sunset to chasing shooting stars over the desert, injects a little piece of enchantment into natural environments.

Jahns believes that emotion is the most essential component of his work, and he strives to recreate in the spectator the same sensations that he had when shooting with his camera. “I think an image needs to make you feel something,” he says. A photograph must convey a narrative.” “I want to make you experience the same feelings I felt while I was in the moment,” he says. Jahns collaborates with other well-known Instagrammers and photographers from all around the world, in addition to utilizing his own images from his journeys. He then returns to his studio, where he edits and blends pictures into surreal sceneries using computer tools.

Mountainscapes peering out above the clouds, star-studded sky, and crystal-clear lakes are among Jahns’ dreamlike renderings. Glittering ropes of lights wrap around woodland trees, and illuminating lanterns float across mirror-like lakes are recurring features. Animals can also be found roaming Jahns’ enchanted realms, often in surprising places like a zebra grazing in a snow-covered woodland.
