“It’s like they knew it was for them.”
Sox and Phoebe have always been a touch out of the ordinary. They had a cat fountain that they enjoyed drinking from until they got tired of it one day. They continued to drink from their normal bowls, but they also drank from whatever “fancy” water sources they could discover. It got their mother thinking, which led to a strange notion.
The kittens’ mother told The Dodo, “I had a basin with moss balls that they loved to drink from.” “While we know cats enjoy running water, it made me question whether cats also like to drink from water with plants, which instinctively makes sense to me.” I enjoy vivariums and paladariums, and I once had an aquarium that Phoebe enjoyed drinking from. As a result, I was motivated. I had a lot of aquarium supplies lying around and assumed I’d simply slap something together.”
Sox and Phoebe’s mother planned to build them the most luxurious cat pond the world had ever seen. It only took her about a day to put everything together and another week to make sure it was flawless. It was actually a rather easy undertaking that she believed would provide her cats, who enjoyed luxury drinking choices, enormous delight.
“I just took a storage bin and added an aquarium filter,” the cats’ mother said. “I used rocks and plants to embellish.” This isn’t a novel concept; others keep fish in tank arrangements similar to this; I simply gave it a new function. The idea is to create a healthy ecology that will benefit my kitties.”
She made certain that every plant and object in the pond was cat-safe. Chia, cat-safe orchids, cat grass, a spider plant, moss, rosemary, and roses are among the plants in the pond. She paid attention to every detail. When the pond was finished, she showed it to her cats, who immediately fell in love with it.
“The cats adored it right away,” the cats’ mother stated. “It’s almost as if they knew it was for them. Since I set it up, they’ve been drinking solely from there. From there, Sox literally slurps. I even got Phoebe a mechanical fish to play with.”
Sox and Phoebe will not drink from anywhere else now that they have the fanciest drinking choice in the entire globe. They adore their new kitty pond. It has everything they could ever desire in a drinking bowl, so why would they go back?
