So many kittens!
This week, Robert Brantley was driving home from work in his automobile when he saw something.
A small kitten lay by the side of the road, apparently alone and forlorn. She seems to have been left behind.
Brantley knew he needed to stop, but he had no idea what was going to happen next.
Brantley received the surprise of a lifetime after stepping out of his car to transfer the young kitten to safety. Other kittens were apparently lying hidden in the tall bushes off the road, waiting for Brantley’s willingness to aid them.
It was the cutest ambush ever.
What began as a single kitten in need of rescue has quickly expanded to 13. Brantley was taken aback, yet this did not diminish his sympathy. He made the decision to assist them all.
With that, Brantley’s vehicle was soon filled with appreciative kittens.
Brantley returned home with his van full of kittens, allowing them to explore his property and meet his family.
“In the meantime, the kids are spoiling them and we’re fattening them!” Brantley penned the piece.
The kittens, who appeared to have been abandoned, were now secure.
Brantley and his family have a lot on their plates, but they’re not alone. The accidental cat father has been recording his experience with the kittens on social media, where a flood of well-wishers and cat enthusiasts have offered guidance and support.
“The kittens are doing fantastic,” Brantley said.
While it is unknown how the kittens ended themselves all alone on the highway, one thing is certain: they found the ideal individual to aid them in their hour of need.
And, due to Brantley, the kittens’ future looks brighter than ever.
“We’re trying hard to find them all excellent homes!” he wrote.
