Such pure love 💜
Franky is still a kitten learning about the world around him, but one thing he does know for sure is that he enjoys snuggling with his human sibling, Liam.
Franky and Liam’s mother, Rachelle Vaughn, told The Dodo, “My son is enamored with him.” “He is a huge animal lover. This one in particular, since he’s a snuggle monkey.”
Franky and Liam had been quite close since the beginning and enjoyed spending a lot of time together – until one day, Franky vanished, leaving Liam distraught.
Vaughn tried everything she could think of to find Franky, including putting up fliers, calling shelters, and scouring local Facebook groups. Nothing seemed to be working until five weeks later, when Franky was eventually located.
Vaughn added, “He showed up on the next block over.” “I jumped all over it when I saw images of him on Facebook and realized he was just behind us.”
Vaughn was ecstatic that Franky had been located and that he was in perfect health. One of their neighbors took him inside and kept him safe until he could be picked up by his family. Vaughn promptly made preparations to pick him up and chose to keep it a secret from Liam, who was still certain Franky was lost.
“My son had no idea we were going to get the cat,” Vaughn explained. “I informed him that Amazon had sent a product to the incorrect address.”
When the two arrived to the neighbor’s house, they stepped inside to retrieve the “gift,” and Liam stopped dead in his tracks and fell into sobs when he spotted Franky in his neighbor’s arms.
Franky immediately recognized his brother, and while being a little overwhelmed after everything he’d gone through, he was overjoyed to finally see his closest buddy again.
“My kid sobbed uncontrollably and said, ‘I have no words,’ as he sobbed with delight,” Vaughn recounted.
The two drove Franky home and nestled him in, and it was as if he’d never been gone at all. He’s overjoyed to be back with his family, and he won’t allow them, especially Liam, out of his sight.
“Franky has been more loving than usual since he’s been home,” Vaughn added. “I could see he missed being at home, as well as us.” He follows me around the home as if I’m going to vanish or something.”
Franky and Liam have had a particular relationship since the beginning, and Liam was overjoyed when he learned his cat had returned to him.
