Woman hears doorbell ring at 4 am — sees it’s her neighbor dog paying her a visit

It’s always nice when a dog comes over for a visit — even if they don’t always pick the most opportune moments.

Recently, one woman got a surprise when her doorbell rang at 4 in the morning, revealing a very unexpected guest.

A viral video by TikTok user @omg_its_char shows the moment an American Bully named Bruce rang her doorbell late at night, captured on the doorbell camera. Bruce is the homeowner’s neighbor dog.

It’s impressive that the pet understood how to use the doorbell, and seems like he’s really waiting to be let in (and even bops his head to the doorbell chime). After a moment Bruce barks, as if to say “hey, I’m out here!”

While few of us like to hear the doorbell ring at such an early hour, the homeowner stepped out to let Bruce in for a visit, and the dog made himself at home.

“I got out of bed and let him inside, this wasn’t the first time he stopped by to say hello,” she wrote in an update. “He helped himself with a toy that belongs to my cat as he had the zoomies for a good 10 minutes and then finally decided to make himself comfortable on my couch.”

She called the dog’s owners, but when they didn’t answer she let Bruce stay the night. The neighbors then picked the dog up the next morning.

The video has gone viral with over 24.6 million views in just two days. Many people commented that they would also let Bruce in if he rang their bell.

“That would be the only welcomed guest in my house,” one comment reads.

“Oh my gosh..if you don’t let him in right now, I’m coming over immediately and keeping him,” another comment says.

“He wanted to have a sleep over,” another wrote.

What a smart dog and a funny video! Please share this story with your friends if you’d let this adorable dog inside for a visit ❤️🥰
