“We can’t quite believe the change in Lady and Stella in such a short amount of time.”
Lady and Stella were rescued together and taken to the RSPCA’s Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, where they were both bald, malnourished, and terrified. Their rescuers thought that their strong relationship would help them adjust to their new circumstances because they were clearly best friends and seemed to seek comfort in each other.
“When Lady and Stella came, they were underweight and had chronic skin disorders that had caused them considerable hair loss and hardened, scaly skin,” The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home’s Haley Medlock stated in a press statement. “They were both very unhappy and frightened, and we had to work hard to win their trust.” However, after a few weeks in our care, they began to exhibit signs of their mischievous, charming personalities.”
Lady and Stella began to emerge out of their shells as time passed, and they also began to heal physically. Their fur came back, they gained weight, and they now appear like entirely different dogs.
“We can’t believe how much Lady and Stella have changed in such a short period of time,” Medlock added.
Lady and Stella are back to being fluffy and cuddly, and they’ve also changed into the nicest little dogs seeking for the ideal home together.
“Stella has a lively and active attitude, whereas Lady likes a tranquil existence,” Medlock explained. “They both like hikes in the countryside and cuddles on the sofa.” Stella thrives on human interaction and would benefit from having someone around for the most of the day. Lady might be shy, but she has wonderful relationships with our employees and loves food, so she is easily won over with treats and nice snacks!”
Lady and Stella would be best suited to a household without small children or other pets. They would like a quiet setting with a family that would provide them with the time and space they require to acclimate to their new existence. They’re seeking for a new beginning and can’t wait to share it with one other.
“These adorable, sensitive dogs have been through so much and need to understand how great life can be,” said Medlock. “They are kind and devoted, and they will make wonderful companions for their new home.”
