Our children sometimes leave us dumbfounded, but picture your four-year-old son returning home with a young deer as a buddy. Isn’t that a bit like a fairytale? That’s precisely what Stephanie Brown saw while on vacation at Massanutten Resort in Virginia.
Stephanie couldn’t believe her eyes when she opened the door and discovered Dominic, her four-year-old son, on the porch with a young deer. The woman was obviously taken aback by the Disney-like scene, but she managed to get a few shots of the wonderful occasion. Needless to say, Stephanie’s stunning photos quickly went viral once she uploaded them on Facebook. After all, you don’t come across a 4-year-old and a wild deer every day.
The mother revealed that they were going to leave the resort, and Dominic was playing outside the cabin while she was packing. However, it’s unknown how the two came to be together. Dominic’s pyjamas may have attracted the deer, or he may have provided her some goodies, but one thing is certain: they quickly became friends. Dominic wanted to present his new friend to his mother, so they both showed up at the door, to to the delight of the boy’s mother.
“I was taken aback. ‘No way,’ I thought. Stephanie told ABC, “My mind is playing tricks with me.” “It wasn’t like anything out of the ordinary for him; it was bizarre.” They were basically on the same page.”
What’s even more amazing is how the fawn acted. She doesn’t appear terrified or uneasy in front of humans or the camera for a single second. She postures for the camera in such a way that it appears she is acting. Dominic even named his new acquaintance. He named the newborn deer Flash, after the DC Comics super-hero.
Thousands of replies and comments poured in when Stephanie published the wonderful photo on Facebook. “They both appear as though this is something they do on a regular basis. “They’re both so precious,” one user wrote. “Your son and his pal are adorable. Another person said, “Wonderful picture.” “They appear to be buds,” wrote another.
