Any day we get to see Angelina Jolie’s effortlessly chic style is a good day, and yesterday was no exception.
The actress was in New York City on Wednesday with her eldest daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, to attend an event at Lincoln Center. The Those Who Wish Me Dead actress wore an angelic ensemble consisting of a black textured cape layered over an ivory silk slipdress and beige pumps for the occasion.
She accessorized simply with large diamond stud earrings and carried Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello’s Cassandre leather pouch. She wore rosy makeup, a soft pink lip, and relaxed waves in her hair.
For the evening out, Zahara channeled her elegant mother by wearing an off-the-shoulder orange-and-red printed dress with an oversized gray blazer. She dressed down the otherwise formal ensemble with a pair of black Converse and a black clutch similar to her mother’s.
When the pair spent the morning in Manhattan, the new college student wore the same sneakers and clutch. Zahara wore a fluffy black shearling jacket, a midnight blue knit sweater, and black tapered trousers to stay warm.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie wore a stunning black wrap coat over a pair of light gray wide-leg trousers and heeled black leather boots. She accessorized her sophisticated look with diamond studs, gold bracelets and rings, and olive green-tinted aviator sunglasses with gold frames.
The mother-daughter team is frequently seen on fashionable outings. They went on a sweet Brooklyn Museum date last November to see artist Duke Riley’s “Death to the Living, Long Live Trash” exhibition. They were also photographed looking relaxed in Rome last June, where Jolie was directing Without Blood, a drama based on the novel of the same name by Italian writer Alessandro Baricco and starring actress Salma Hayek.
