California’s largest reservoir, Lake Shasta, has undergone a remarkable transformation. Just two years ago, drought gripped the region, leaving the lake at a fraction of its capacity. Today, thanks to heavy rainfall, Lake Shasta boasts a dramatic comeback.

Since October 2023, nearly 37 inches of rain have drenched the Shasta Dam area, replenishing the parched landscape. As April 2024 approaches, further downpours have pushed water levels to an impressive 90% full, surpassing historical averages.
