A routine grooming appointment turned into an internet moment this month when a Doberman named Eleven discovered what his groomer had posted online. The photo that got him noticed shows a very big dog with a very big reaction.
The Photo
Eleven’s family spotted the picture on TikTok, where the account @dippindotspots shared a clip titled with the line “The groomer posted a picture of you.” Then comes the reveal: Eleven in the grooming tub, one huge paw hooked over the edge, water spraying toward him, ears straight up, eyes wide and mouth hanging open.
It’s the expression of a dog who is certain something terrible is about to happen, even though it’s just a bath.
The Internet Reacts
Commenters instantly saw the potential. One said the photo should be printed and framed. Another compared Eleven to Dracula getting hit with garlic sauce, and a few suggested hanging it in the bathroom.
The official National Geographic Animals account wrote the dog’s inner monologue: “I was told this would stay between us.” The post was reported by Parade Pets on October 10, 2026, and later picked up by Yahoo and AOL.
Why Dobermans Make Great Reaction Photos
Dobermans have a reputation as athletic, intelligent and loyal dogs, and their expressive faces and large ears can turn simple moments into dramatic ones. Short-haired dogs like Dobermans still benefit from regular baths, nail trims and coat care, even though they don’t need haircuts.
Finding a Groomer You and Your Dog Like
If you’re hunting for a groomer, here’s how to start:
- Ask for referrals. Friends and family can tell you which groomers they trust and why.
- Talk about your dog. Share temperament, anxieties and special needs before booking.
- Ask about photos. Many groomers share updates, so ask whether you can approve what gets posted.
Turn Your Dog’s Best Moment Into Something You Can Keep
Not every pet photo can be as unforgettable as Eleven’s, but you can turn your favorites into keepsakes:
- Custom pet portraits and canvas prints. Compare photo canvas prints and custom pet portraits.
- Personalized gifts. Pet photo mugs, tote bags and holiday cards make fun presents.
- Grooming supplies. Dog shampoo, grooming tubs and at-home grooming kits help with bath time.
- Protect your pup. Pet insurance can help cover vet visits and unexpected costs.
