“Don’t be fooled by its scary appearance, its meat is very tender,” Tizi says in the video.

After the shark was confirmed as a great white through tissue samples, the blogger was found to have violated China’s Wild Animal Protection Law, according to a statement.

If it was a known and published law, irrespective of its “correctness,” and she had clear access to its language, then she has no solid defense.
Personally, I think the restrictions as to the kinds of sea creatures taken—killed—and the methods used need to be tightened much stronger! And applied strictly and fairly!

Absolutely horrendous type of behaviour, and what for to add to her social media account. She needs to pay the fine and go to jail (I’m Tizi might gain more followers by doing that though). No conscience or thought for the shark, absolutely disgusting and heartless.

This is horrible. Given the number of sharks killed for shark fin soup, I thought it was acceptable in China to kill and eat sharks. Hopefully, the world really is changing.
