Khemjira Klongsanun, like any other athlete, has the right amount of drive and competitiveness. She particularly enjoys running and has competed in a number of races.
Khemjira, on the other hand, demonstrated that she is more than just a good athlete in one of her recent marathons in Bangkok, Thailand.
A puppy on the side of the road looking lost caused her to pull over and forget about the competition. It was a 26-mile run, and she was only on mile 7, but seeing that little puppy there, with no mother in sight, she couldn’t help but save her. She came to a halt, picked her up, and carried her for the duration of the marathon.
She didn’t hand over the puppy to someone in the audience; instead, she carried it all the way to the finish line, forging a bond that will be difficult to break.
After the race, they paid a quick visit to the location where she found the pup to see if her siblings or mother were still there, but they were not, so Khemjira took the dog home with her. Khemjira named the puppy Nom Chom, and she now has a forever home.
Nom Chom has had a vet checkup, and she is happy and well cared for by her new human mom and fur siblings.
This is Khemjira Klongsanun from Bangkok, Thailand.
During a 26-mile marathon race, she rescued a lost puppy stranded on the side of the road.
Rather than abandoning her, she chose to run alongside the puppy until the finish line.
Look at them as they waved to the crowds cheering for them.
They’re posing for the cameras. Aren’t they cute?
They even returned to the location where the puppy was discovered, but no mother or sibling could be found.
Khemjira decided to keep the puppy, which she named Nom Chom. Look at Nom Chom soaking up the rays and getting some much-needed beauty rest! You know how difficult it is to get lost?
Do you think they’re discussing rules and deciding who’s in charge?
Here’s another picture of Nom Chom looking relaxed and at ease in the comforts of a lovely home.
Just look at those adorable onesies!
And here she is again, getting acquainted with one of her new siblings.
