A brown bear cub who was lost and thought to have consumed too much “crazy honey” was rescued on Thursday in the Duzce district of northwest Turkey.

After being rescued from the wilderness, the bear was seen in footage sitting belly-up in the back of a pick-up vehicle while trembling and whining.

Rhododendron honey, often known as “mad honey” or “deli bal” in Turkish, has psychedelic properties.

Local police said the bear was taken to a veterinarian where she was being treated and would probably be released into the wild in the upcoming days because she was in good shape.

Turkish Twitter users were asked by the agriculture ministry to name the bear.
